River Run Cabinetry’s Standard Construction offers many features which are considered upgrades in other lines of cabinetry.

MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

Case

1. Traditional face frame construction using select birch. Face frames are solid 3/4” thick with 1 1/2” stiles and rails. Mortise and tenon joints.
2. Sides are birch veneered 1/2” plywood. The interior features a clear-coat finish and the exterior is stained to match the door. (Hampton interior is painted soft white.)
3. Shelves are 5/8” thick birch veneered plywood sealed with a clear-coat, adjustable
   and front edge banded.
4. For ease of installation, backs are framed with a 1/2” plywood hanging rail.
   Base cabinet backs extend to the floor providing optimal structural stability.

Drawers

5. 1/2” thick solid hard wood, dovetailed joints and clear-coated.
   Bottoms are 1/4” birch plywood fully captured.
   Slides are under mounted full-extension soft close.

Doors

6. Premium full overlay door styles.
   Butt doors on all sizes up to 39” wide.
   Mortise and Tenon
   
   • Shaker is a full overlay birch door with 2 1/4” stiles and rails. The center panel is a 1/4” plywood panel.
   • Lenox is a birch full overlay applied molding door with 2 1/4” stiles and rails. The raised center panel is solid wood.
   • Bridgewater is a birch full overlay applied molding door with 2 5/8" stiles and rails. The raised center panel is solid wood.
   • Hampton is a premium MDF full overlay door featuring the same profiling as Bridgewater on the doors and drawers.

Hinges

7. Hinges are 6-way adjustable.

Roll Trays

8. Optional roll trays.
   All wood dovetail construction.

Finish

• Valspar standard formulations are used.
• Catalyzed conversion varnish top coat with UV protection is applied to doors, drawers and face frames.
• Glazing is applied to the doors and drawer fronts.

2. Sides are 1/2” 45lb. furniture core vinyl wrapped, both interior and exterior. The interior matches ends.
3. Shelves are 5/8” thick, 45lb. furniture core vinyl wrapped, adjustable and front edge banded.
4. For ease of installation, backs are framed with a 1/2” plywood hanging rail. Base cabinet backs extend to the floor providing optimal structural stability.

Drawers

5. 1/2” 45lb. furniture core vinyl wrapped and edge banded.
   Bottoms are 1/4” vinyl wrapped plywood fully captured.
   Slides are side mounted 3/4 extension.
   Drawer fronts are solid slab construction with a back beveled, glazed edge detail.

Hinges

6. Hinges are 2-way adjustable.

Doors

• Dillon is a 1/4” recessed plywood panel with a 2 1/8” mortise and tenon frame, birch. Door edges are back beveled.

Finish

• Valspar standard formulations are used.

• Glazing is applied to the doors and drawer fronts when selected.
